Mobile Service & Weather Policy
Mobile service depends on a legal, authorized and safe place to work. This policy explains what customers arrange and when NOVA may adjust or move an appointment to protect people, property and service quality.
Quick facts
- Customers arrange legal parking, property permission, safe access and reasonable workspace.
- NOVA may decline or reschedule an unsafe, unauthorized or inaccessible site.
- NOVA decides whether weather and site conditions support safe, quality work.
- A weather-related reschedule initiated by NOVA has no customer cancellation fee.
01
Legal parking and reasonable workspace
The customer must provide legal and authorized parking on a stable surface, with enough room for staff and equipment to move safely around the vehicle. Work must not obstruct active traffic, emergency access, pedestrians or neighbouring spaces.
Steep slopes, loose or soft ground, flooding, deep snow, ice, low clearance, poor lighting or insufficient space may make the site unsuitable. Send site photos with the request if access is uncertain.
02
Vehicle access
The vehicle must be present and safely accessible at the confirmed time. Provide keys or arranged access when needed and remain reachable for approvals.
NOVA may unlock, start, move or reposition the vehicle only where reasonably necessary to perform the booked service. This does not authorize unrestricted driving or road testing; any road test would require separate authorization where applicable.
- Arrange gates, fobs, barrier codes, visitor parking and building entry in advance.
- Disclose parking limits, ceiling restrictions, active traffic and manoeuvring constraints.
- Remove valuables and unnecessary belongings; child seats generally remain installed unless separately agreed.
03
Condos, apartments and managed properties
The customer is responsible for confirming that mobile detailing or auto care is permitted at the property and for obtaining condo, landlord, employer or property-management approval where required. NOVA cannot override building or parking rules.
If management, security or another authorized representative prohibits the work, NOVA will stop. The appointment may be moved to another suitable location or rescheduled, and an arrival callout charge may apply under the Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy where permission or access should have been arranged in advance.
04
Water and power
Requirements depend on the booked service and the mobile setup assigned to the appointment. Tell NOVA when no tap or standard power outlet is available. NOVA will confirm what it can supply and what access, if any, is needed before confirming the appointment.
05
When NOVA may decline or reschedule
NOVA may decline, pause or reschedule where the location is unsafe, work would interfere with traffic, property rules prohibit service, workspace is insufficient, or the vehicle cannot be safely accessed. NOVA will explain the concern and look for a practical alternative where possible.
06
Weather and travel conditions
Rain, snow, lightning, high winds, extreme heat, extreme cold, unsafe roads or travel, excessive dust or debris, and unsuitable surface or work conditions can affect safety and quality. NOVA retains final discretion to decide whether conditions are suitable.
Depending on the service and forecast, NOVA may modify the approved work, adjust the start window, move to a suitable sheltered area, postpone part of the work or reschedule. A weather-related reschedule initiated by NOVA has no customer cancellation fee.
07
Finish-sensitive services
Paint correction, paint protection or sealant application, glass coatings, wheel cosmetic spray refinishing and brake caliper painting may be postponed when temperature, humidity, wind, moisture, dust or precipitation could compromise preparation, finish quality, curing or safety.
NOVA does not promise to perform these services under unsuitable conditions, even if less condition-sensitive work can proceed that day.
08
Sheltered and indoor spaces
A garage, carport or covered parking area may make some work possible, but it must still have legal authorization, ventilation, lighting, safe access and enough workspace. Property rules continue to apply.
09
Condition documentation
NOVA may photograph visible vehicle and site condition before, during and after service for assessment, quality control, service records and dispute prevention. Operational photos and private booking uploads are not automatically approved for marketing. Public use requires clear permission under the Privacy Policy.
10
Timing and communication
Mobile timing can change with traffic, travel, site access, weather and the condition found. NOVA will communicate material delays or changes and seek approval before a material change in scope or price.
